Pick Punch Recycled Plastic. 🎶 ♻

They have some cool colours and patterns just from the marketing on the containers.

The best plastic is the yellow lids from honey 🍯 and Vegemite lid. We are big fans of both of these things so I shouldn't have a problem with supply.

I am still trying to find the right ink or marker to draw on them.

I have tried different sharpies and artline pens. But they rub off pretty quickly.

I welcome any suggestions.

This is one of the badges made by @lauralemons. I have used them from time to time, in a light hearted way. I love the sentiment she conveyed in them. I share them now with a heavy heart. 💙

such a cool recycling idea.
Maybe try drawing on it then slapping a coat of flexible varnish over?

or maybe even a wood glue?

I will give it a go. To use in pick jewellery it would be great. To use as a pick, I will have to see how it holds up. Thanks

good luck

They are really pretty and unique already. Very clever idea!

What a great idea! What if you put a coat of transparent nail polish on it... and a big hug for @lauralemons, didn't know her but I know how you feel :(

Hi
I am a mental health nurse too. Well was for a long time, until recently. Just checked out your posts and following now. Thanks for commenting.

That's great! Did you like it? What do you do now?

I loved it. I have been sick this year, so I have resigned for now at least. I would go back if I get better. https://steemit.com/life/@girlbeforemirror/steemit-has-changed-me-and-saved-me-in-unexpected-ways
I do almost nothing now. I exist in my home and do what I can for my family. My husband is the one that does.

Thanks for sharing... Love it.

I have one of these, but I never thought to use it on other plastics besides wallet cards. Great idea!
