🎨 "Gravitation Anomaly" - original painting in acrylics

This painting was a "byproduct" of a my first book cover illustration. I started it in acrylics but finished the actual illustration in Photoshop. Later I took the painting and finished it in a different way as you can see it here. You can see the book cover below.

Here is the book cover to Wolfgang Hohlbein's horror-fantasy novel "Wyrm". Many years later I met Hohlbein in person and asked him about this book. I was quite baffled when he told me he wrote it during a two weeks vacation with his family. It took me pretty much the same time to finish this cover!

    Been a fan of your work for many years. Even joined steemit based on your final instagram post, not to mention using 3d coat in my workflow and even getting a projector to paint on canvas what I create on PC. Look forward to viewing your steems ( I guess that the right word).
