I loved seeing your fatherΒ΄s work and love seeing the way it inspired your first works and how you have evolved from there. Wonderful post!

Thank you @romanie!

Marvelous.....and refreshingly deep. Thank you for sharing. Upvoted & Resteemed :)

Awesome piece! I love to see your use of a different color palate on this one, a little more "living nature" than the usual. The detail images on this post are fantastic as well, bringing to light things I didn't see on the overall photo. Marvelous details! I also see that Death Star type object hiding in the skyline. ☺️ "That's no moon..."
Once more, I must say "bravo!"

checked it out... you are both the type of paintstaking long works :-)

I love that you had your father's work to inspire you. I had an Aunt who painted who inspired me and my Grandmother took up painting in her 80's and lived into her 100s. She also greatly inspired me.

I love the palette and the Hieronymus Bosch feel to it. Well done.

That is crazy good, you are a true master painter I can believe this was your first painting you did there :0

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

Well, It took me quite some time to finish it...

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

I can believe that, please tell me you still own it and haven't sold it off. a piece like that you should keep for as long as possible.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

It's in my parents' place, not for sale!

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

That's good because those painting are memories.

  • __ * amazing...

i've never been not amazed by your works and creativity and attention to details * __ *

the bodies and strangeness in the zoomed in details are so surreal and full with their own stories * __ *

Stellar stuff man, I get some Giger vibes from this. Im curious, is the art academy in vienna an atelier? I attended the Georgetown Atelier in Seattle, and studied with a student who attended an atelier in spain.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

Thanks @joeyok! The Art Academy is actually an university - you can find the details here: https://www.akbild.ac.at/portal_en/akbild_startpage?set_language=en&cl=en

Wow @gric! You continued to captivate, fascinate and put me into a constant amazement. No dull moments on your masterpiece bursting of so much stories which I find it bizaare and enigmatic. Furthermore, you keep on tickling our imagination to go beyond. Truly, you were born with it! :)

To see all of the details I have to look under the microscope.
How is it a 1cmΒ². There are so many details lol.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

The square shows how big a square cm is in comparison to the actual painting.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ (edited)

Oh, the white square is a square cm. Lol, I get it now.
I thought the whole picture was a square cm.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

The color balance is spectacular and as always the details are the maximum. I do not know if I told you before but some of your pieces remind me of the work of H. R. Giger. πŸ˜€
