Title: Indifference
oil on canvas
2003
by harj

My interpretation;

This painting is one of my first paintings and a favorite of many, its my existential art piece relating to existence, each individual not a society or a religion is solely responsible for adding meaning to your life and you living it.

This juxtapose the absurdity that life has a meaning to only you like love, losing love, memories but to the universe it has no meaning or significance, moreover in essence your life is meaningless and the universe is indifferent to our short existence.

Your joys, your suffering how can one not be in state of despair with your short lived fire in billions of light years of space that came and went. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

I really hope you enjoy my art work please PLEASE I would love to hear about your interpretation if you could leave it below, it will give us all an insight and a better understanding to all of us.

Again thankyou my Steemian family for all your support : ))))))

Big hugs and love

harj

Very interesting how it combines the paradoxical tensions so smoothly. And I really like your interpretation. Good work!

awww thank you raci! i like your view very interesting yes I feel that tension with the stiking contrast! : )

@you commented on one of my posts recently so I thought I'd look at your profile. I like the art piece. Some simple people might say it's all black with a red dot but it is a lot more than that. There's a strory. A feeling it gives off. A very good painting.

Great art work first and foremost @harj I tend to feel sometimes as little or as insignificant our lives may seem to the universe it has its purpose, every action we take as individuals somehow sums up collectively to a grand total, if you see a man at the beach with a spoon shovelling sand you may laugh and say "he'd spend forever doing that" but if he where at it day and night for weeks, months and years to come you'd be amazed at how much sand he had moved, we don't take note of the little things here on planet earth but everything we do sums up in the end. What would be the outcome? I don't know but I'm pretty sure the unexpected is waiting for us all. We marvel and make wishes at shooting stars but they where once a planet before they turned into that ball of flames...that's something to think about, a process occurred for hundreds of years before it got to that stage. Hope that brought a lil clarity? Cheers mate

wow kingzeus I love your summing up and it was so well said!!! we all try to improve our lives give in meaning. like a squirl trying to find a nut and hide it for summer, find a partner, have children love.

Wow brother, really intense! The red one spouts out at the eye. It feels to me like a strong, precise feeling, I could feel it in my chest too. To me it says really obvious force of life in the middle of an environment that lacks feelings or aliveness. I feel very much like this painting when I stay in the city too much lol. It calls for change, or something needs to be taken attention to at least. My 3 cents.

Bravo!

awww thank you ikialyfe I really like your interpretation its lovely x x x

Hello friend, I congratulate you for a beautiful work, for me art encompasses all the creations made by human beings to express a vision. I see a small bird-type animal struggling lonely to get out of that alversity.

Hey!! yes I see that a small bird trying to get out of adversity, thats been echoed a few times here and it is exactly the problem I see. a harsh time for the bird. is that birdy us Luis ? thank you my freind : )

@harj I really like your art style! At first glance I thought it was a bird submerged in water. The way I saw it was although it was fighting against so many odds it was still managing to radiate. Just like I believe our struggles in life create polarity in the positive. You can't really experience one without the other. But sometimes you need to persevere through the struggles to be able to appreciate the rewards. I reminder to never give up. I look forward to seeing more of your art!

You are right @neeqi sometimes in life we need to persevere through the struggle and only then would be able to see the light at the end

Mart I am interested in this construction one must imagine sysiphous happy struggling with his rock.

Hey Neeqi I miss that one! but yes I think thats so amazing a bird submerged in water! and still managing to radiate! Awww thank you for your kind words! I really enjoyed your post My Body Suspension Experience xxx

Yes this painting is like a fish struggling to fight to the top of black murky water. Like an orange black and white goldfish but the water is like mud, thick and full of heaviness like life. Great art @harj. Upvoted

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

I also am intrigued by your artwork and you are a wordsmith in to my ears @harj . It's so hard to imagine life without all of you guiding the way for other users any myself. Thank you~

~ If love is all we need then the value of interaction is not a coincidence here but rather the divinity of one another.

Love coins what wonderful words" the divinity of one another" I truly appreciate your help with understanding how spontaneously that happens : ) just by your actions. Thank you love coins

lovely painting @harj! this art work is one of a kind.

Great job thanks for sharing with us upvoteddd!!! Done!! Vote me back please check my true story !!

I will support you best I can bro, thank you!

Awww luna this is very sweet of you to say!!! thank you !!!!

I spent a long time looking at the pic of you and the family (?) thinking 'wow, this is really good for oil painting.'

Only after reading, did I get to the piece you did.

Disclaimer: I'm no art critic. It's very interesting to look at. It seems like the sort of painting that could be viewed again and again without boredom; what you see depends on your moods or what's going on in life at that time. It seemed to me like the primordial soup of life, before evolution began, and the colourful explosions giving birth to everything in the universe.

I'd love to upvote but I've got hardly any voting power.

@anjkara , I did a double take as I was reading through the comments after I had contemplated the pictures myself -
This is where my thoughts actually first went, too! -- my initial thoughts being along the lines of, what is happening here? A burst of creation from a primordial soup... A small flame which will spread warmth and life from the darkness... I was thinking about how interesting it is how something which can seem deceptively simple at first glance can contain so much depth and provoke feelings. Your interpretation is beautiful, I am also not an art critic lol but I thought it was neat that we shared some of the same thoughts.
Hi, @harj ! :) I hope you're having a happy day :) This piece brings an interesting mix of feelings, for me at least. Hidden meanings, creation fraught with struggle. Thanks for sharing it! I would love to see more.

Ah that's lovely. Great minds think alike, as they say. It is a beautiful painting. I'd never get bored of looking at it. Be well, mamatalks

I feel that too like screaming and nothing hears you imagine that. Shouting as loud as you can! I'm happy !!!! And no one hears you. Wow I can't understand that emotion so I decided to paint it. Thank you both of you . You both hear me : )))))

AWWw anj no need to upvote!!! your comments is amazing! and I love the way you describe the pimordial soup of life before evolution began!!!! im glad it has that affect, wow thank you anjkara. #quoteoftheday #givingbirthintheuniverse : ). I also love your lost skills post : ) x x x

i taught it's fire in the ocean but after i looked deeply its art... your art super amazing

awwww Leediana thats lovely for you to say! thats : ))))! I love your anololgy a fire in the ocean. Really like your hena tattoo too x

Thank you for your kind words Elien yes art can mean so much so many hope you we ejoying your time on Steemit! x

It seems to me a beautiful work of art that represents how small we are before the universe

wow yes I see that but what you think about that smallness ? thats us happy ?

very good friend, what matters most are the origins and feel good with yourself because after all life is very short and you have to take advantage of it.

I like what you said gmario true insight #lifeisshorttakeadvantageofit thank you Gmario! love your into post : )

I really like the way that you interpreted your artwork. Kind of a wake up call when we go through stuff how small our obstacles actually are. Great work.

Thank you mallory! #howbigsmall I love that big but small viewpoint that captures my interpretation too! I really enjoyed your intro post : )

how you finding steemit ?

As if the heart wants to say everything explosively and quietly beats through.
Wonderful this painting and so you see, everyone experiences it differently. Nice👍☀️👌

AWWW thats amazing aaltje I love you interpretation its so new! i have not had this one!!! wow its so much like the painting! wow thank you!! its so indiffrent to what the heart wants! : )

Wow, I really like the oil painting. Probably my favorite physical medium, tied to charcoal. I don't see life so insignificant and meaningless, but instead the very opposite. The universe being meaningless gives meaning to life.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Criez Yes! a meaningless universe gives life #meaninglessandlife thank you your amazing! you will reach the goal you set yourself for 2018 : ) thank you !

You look lovely as always in your pictures. Nice to see you so happy. Lovely post.

Awww thanks dilsa what did you think about my paining ? love to know : )

I see isolation, I see bright beautiful colours wanting to break free.

Awwww thank you . Bright talents wanting to break free! I truly feel Steemit like this painting maybe bridge that void : )

Thats good, Im glad steemit is bringing light into your life.

For me it signifies rebirth. I feel like it needs to squeeze out to start again, like lava from a volcano, or puss from a big spot (not as glamorous, I get it) either way, it signifies to me escape, starting a fresh. The colours show variations of matter that is apart of life as we now it. A brilliant piece of work in my humble opinion.

awwww Sarah thats amazing and a very complex deep response, exactly what we on this page and was looking for the idea of a cycle, life with escape!!! The many aspects of life! I really love your interpretation its really complex thank you sarah and your spiritual work on your blog. : )

You are more than welcome, if you have anything else give us a shout :-)

AWww that was so kind of you to resteem the art thank you Sarah x x x im following you so I wont forget how to find you! : ) !! x

My pleasure : ) x

WOW, this painting speaks to me. One man stands out amoung many, he portraits to me that we all are different in our own way but yet are as a grain of sand in this crazy ride we know as life.... . excellent piece!

Vloren wow I love this interpretation its amazing it's spot on! What a beautiful yet scary life thank you

the colors are perfect :) to me it means a spark burning somewhere inside us all opposing the system and injustice to others and ourselves.

but thats just me. anyways, beautiful work

Herbert thank you! yes we are treated badly alot and that's part of life when we as a race get things wrong we have the ability to also get it dam right. Fantastic interpretation! #perfectcolors : ) thank you Herbert Holmes

I like the small figure in open space. It could be the big bang or it could be something terrible like a plane getting shot down or it could be the remains of a bug on a window. It represents the primoridial figures of life and death... a moment where the world stopped. It might be significant or it might not, but having to ponder the significance is largely significant enough to understand the impact of this impression of oil on canvas.

Yes exactly and if there is a relationship between them and I feel it's on of indifference thank you bell yes it is life and nothingness.

Your artwork "indifference" is truly amazing. I've never seen anything like your artwork before. At first glance I didn't quite understood it but as I kept on looking at it, your painting "indifference" looks like a bird. It portrays something like as if the bird is different than any other birds but that difference made it look like the bird has something more than being different. Like something more to show. That the bird being different radiates through the night showing the beautiful fiery side of itself. Your artwork is really one of kind. It's really beautiful. 😊

wow thank you christney that is so kind of you to say and a wonderful observation! wow!!! I love your interpretation of a bird like no other! Its so important to be who you are in your heart. #likenoother : )

I would have loved to see this in real life! But this will do. It is really good. The work speaks out to the viewer. But the words the viewer hear is not a soft whisper, but a shout; an angst-filled scream to let him/her out. The single focus point on the artwork is like a single scream in the middle of the universe with only darkness around you, no one can hear the screams but you.
But this work is also a soft whisper into the ears of those who understand that being lonely is not that bad. It is a comfort for those who accept the fate of being alone in your mind, in a way locked up away from the rest of the world.
I love this artwork. Your feelings of hope and dispair shine through.

I have a similar artwork, I would love to hear your interpretation!

https://steemit.com/philosophy/@fermentedphil/why-do-the-rich-think-about-being-poor-with-an-original-artwork

this is very cool my friend. Its like a burst of pressure from the land, a sky view of a volcano.

awww yeah I like your intense interpretation Soundlegion! #burstland

Mate, nice art.. Keep up the good work .

sehr schön

Danke..

Danke!! thank you ! glad you liked it! Val

Awww dash that is very kind of you to say could I ask you whats your interpretation ?

Its difficult as a human to find a logical meaning to life . Rather to find a meaning its better to enjoy the variety that life offers us.

That's so interesting do you think life is suffering ? Dash ?

Life is both rewarding and painful i feel . To keep going is the mantra . what say ? @harj

Yes thats how one must see it to survive or needs to find some reward!

Correct ..

Hey man, I really enjoyed it! I think the concept is quite interesting actually. I believe I've had this debate with my friends many times, whether this universe has intrinsic meaning to it or not. I always come back to the conclusion that life has meaning where you give meaning, and I think thats one of the beautiful things of being human. We get to string strange symbols and hieroglyphs together and call it a language, we get to communicate in strange sounds made by our body and know what the other is thinks about this or that. But at the same time language isn't solely inherent in human beings, all types of animals have ways of communication, and how did they come up with those forms of communication, yet we consider them to be much less intelligent then humans.

This leads me to thinking that everything is connected in some way, and that we're not much different from anything else here in the universe.

Your piece has quite honestly led me to rethink some things regarding that. hahaha thank you for that!

Jameel I really love your interpretation of the painting and yes its seem so absurd! when you think about it, make one emotinal if this is it why should one continue.

I think it represents for me, an energetic beginning, ready to burst into life. very pleasing to look at.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Awww Naive yes! thats you and me on Steemit! making your way through all your hardwork! : )

Amazing, @harj. At the first seeing, I feel it is a dragon flying up from the center of ocean. That dragon symbols for new brightest things coming up to you. It is also the way of telling that the strength is growing up despite of any trouble.
Nice art! Keep it up, @harj!

wow!!! i never seen it that way before! thats very insightful a dragon! YES just had a look and yes! I see it!!

Because I am just an ordinary people! So I just keep seeing it :P

Awww : ))))

Hi. I felt it's like the ocean of emotions. The brushstrokes look like waves, and beneath them, so many feelings and thoughs are hidden. Though, you only can see or express tiny bits of those feelings. I wonder how big this painting is.

Awww its not that big but large enough, Rinbird thank you for your share! I really like your idea of an ocean of emotions!! with hidden untapped feelings and thoughts. :)

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Wow that’s a very deep post you shared there. To me it represents the infinite beginning and the infinite end to our existence. We are everything and yet nothing- might as well have fun and enjoy the ride :) humanity is waking up and amongst all the fear mongering and hate propaganda, we are connected. We use our wisdom to create cool shit every day- think Elon Musk.

If you aren’t scared of “dying” than life becomes fun and is seen from a space of love rather than seperation. Thank you brother x

@thecreativerebel I think you will appreciate this post and the comments- got a good tribe here

Great painting! Quite intriguing. I don't have a lot of experience with interpreting art but my first impression when I seen it was lonelineness. A single entity being swallowed by a vast emptiness. Beautiful! The struggle of life.

wow just I feel that too!!!! its despairing! and shocking to know this is it! thank you!

It makes me feel pain, powerful art but I wouldn't wan't it on my wall. Looks like something that should go in a library in the non-fiction section.

Good I too feel your pain with life, it's vulnerability, it's shortness, the effort in looking after it and knowing that I could make better choices in life but choose not too is human, that is us. Feeling the pain of other and being unable to act. Regretable choices only humans can make. Thank you godo #pain

each individual not a society or a religion is solely responsible for adding meaning to life and living it. The absurdity that life has a meaning to you but the universe has no meaning or significance. In essence is meaningless and indifferent to our short existence.

I agree with the first part for the most part! Though sometimes I wonder if there even really is an individual of if the ego is just an illusion. I do think we should try to find our own purpose that's super important, though I'm not convinced the universe is indifferent, there might be some kind of sort of symbiotic relationship going on there.

Interesting thoughts and artwork!

thanks Apol I like your idea of a symbiotic relationship love to know abit more. Iv added abit more too! thank you apol : ) very interesting

Hello Friend, love your work! I can see the bird the ladybird. Keep up with the good work! You have my support! ;)

Thank you I really appreciate your support and your support for art thank you nexit! what do you think of the painting nexit ? your interpretation : ) you can do it!!!! : )

Honestly! At first i thought there mountains! Lol and then i began to see a different picture. It seems the painting tells a different story from different views points. You canmsee my work here @mart101

Awww thank you Mart! yes Mountains do you see your self in the picture ? I love you stuff on blockchain really like where crypto is going amazing : )

It conveys isolation. There is an island of ferocity and chaos in the middle of an ocean of grayness. I do not envy whoever has to live on the island.

The structure of our psyche is only shaped in interaction with others.

Mark i like your intellectual attempt at the idea in the painting, It does convey isolation to me too, our isolation, we are all going only one way and yes thats interesing we are shaped by others which is the highlight for me. the bumping effect! : ) thank you !

keep up the good work...mind blowing to do it...just love it

Awww thats so kind of you to say hope you like the next one!! coming out soon. I enjoy you posts especially the one on lack of sleep and depression! thank you Rob.

wow that was a nice paintings!

AWww what you think of my art Viuzz your own feelings ? where you from ?

Nice art. I would love to see more in future.

AWww thank you! love to know what you see in it ?

What a beautiful work. I'm just fascinated. I like how everything seems ti combine, the contrast in the colors and the simplicity of the piece in general. Truly beautiful.

Awww daniel thats really sweet of you to say, I have heard a few say that thank you where you from ? do you feel like you are in the painting ?

You're welcome! I am from Venezuela. Yes. In some way, yes. At the same time I feel that the fully piece represents transformation. Like a collision sunset. Magical.

WOW! Cool. I like the detail of the strokes.

Kidult thank you for that do you do art too ? I like your cutting tools : )

Every individual has something inside him that is always there but gets to keep it as it is since it is not accepted by society..

Wandergirl wow!!!! #everybodyhassomthingintrinsicly do you think the green is the bad and the colour is the good the individual ? or not ?

This post has received gratitude of 2.73 % from @appreciator thanks to: @harj.

I have to be honest, that style of artwork is way beyond my understanding, however, I do find the use of colors and textures to be quite dramatic and intriguing.

To me it's about the simplycity that is our life, isn't order, the life is short, you give the meaning, the reason to live... all depend of you, you decide, you can go or leave... I like your workart! thanks!

Wow that was well said !!!!!! Such a serious assessment!

@harj your photography is amazing
and also painting is fabulous.
I love your art.

Indifference by harj. nice post amazing photography blog

aww thank you bro !

Im glad you like it : ) would be lovely to know what you think about it ?

Awww thank you Zain what is your interpretaion of the art piece can you see yourself in it ?

Your painting is interesting. I appreciate other's opinions that it looks like the beginning of something, rising from the darkness. But, I could also see it as the last bit of flame ready to extinguish, in the middle of all it has consumed. It's a painting that can elicit so many feelings. Keep it up my friend!

Thats the first time I have heard that Kunschj! #readytoextinguish thank you so much : ))))))

This art reminds me a Kilauea volcano in Hawaii Island. It looks like the energy coming out from the earth. I felt huge power under the gray ground. I really enjoyed your art✨👍

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Aloha! thats amazing crystal! #powerunderthegreyground thank you! wish I could exprieance that too x

I really like this piece as well. It is like a lone sole in an "emptiness". Yet even though alone, its colours are shining.
Be happy with who you are. Don't worry what others think. Life is "small".

dad!! thank you for your message! #aloneshining your an amazing dad! : )

You art is amazing @harj , hmm I am not that good interpreter about art but when I looked at your paint . It seems like something or it looks like a bird and it is struggling to swim from being drown .

In life , we might suffer from depression or loneliness. Sometimes we ended up losing the meaning to live life but if we look at the bright side we can overcome the darkness . All we need to do is interact and socialize to have a better meaning in life . Find ways so that you shine brightly to others . :)

OH, that's it . I am not sure if you would like my interpretation but overall . I am looking forward to more of your art . Followed and upvoted . Hope you check my posts too :) Thanks.

Best regards,
@joancabz

Joan that is a great interpretation how you use a bird stuggling and compare that to us dealing with loneliness and life. I see what you see and its easy to end up in a dark place with no light.

#likeabird

Thank you Joan : )

I appreciate your response :) looking forward to more of your art :)

it looks like those big gold and white carps splashing around in the water without a care if they are seen or not. I love it! You got talent. Thanks for sharing

AWww purple that is so sweet of you to say, i really like your interpretaion daisy. #yougottalent : )

This post has received a 38.2 % upvote from @boomerang thanks to: @harj

The title really captures the message depicted in the painting. Looking at the painting, it extends beyond the literal meaning to include all who are in different to what goes on around them. From a literal point, it appears as something colorful trapped in the sea. But figuratively, it includes all who are indifferent to happenings in the world. They stay fixed in their own little corner with the, "it doesn't concern me" attitude. Great art. Great artist. Nice.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Awww that's a lovely interpretation not looking out and so there is nothing. Yes I too see many who think like this and it's emotional and hard not to be, as it affects everyone thank you with love Harj. #weareinthistogether

Ed wow Iv not heard that one yet, but it's a good one! I see your point, it's great to meet someone who see art in that way and is able to say it. Thank you Ed #mymindisdifferent : )

At first, I get the impression of 2 struggling duck in the water until I saw the bigger picture there that looks like a bird building a nest for the babies. What a different interpretation. That's art. Indifference? Yes, because we don't know how to interpret. Let us know what they are.

Awww Rosa thats fantastic how you see it as a baby in a nest and a bird building thats amazing, lots of diffrent views its amazing thank you Rosa : )))))))

AWWw thank you julie i like your flower idea burning : ) #burningflower :)

Hey Harj!

Thanks for reaching out to me via my image on Steepshot.

So glad you did as it seems we have similar thoughts and ideals.

This painting is primordial in feel and I am sure the textures of the original are integral to this work and it's inherent energy.

I love it.

:)

For now I have only posted my digital illustration work with my writing but I am also a fine artist working in various mediums.

Upvoted/Followed I invite you to pass by mine and hopefully we can encourage one another on our creative ways.

Kind wishes.

xox

wow ldacey so many beautiful compliments from a beautiful woman thank you !!! I can see the primordial and its so scary to know billions of years have past before we were born!! wow and we are so lucky to have been born!!! thank you for the support #primordialtextures ; )

Its really different. Deep thought. Very beautiful art.

thank you coolclub yes I think this is a deep philosophical painting! and I want everyone to see this painting before it goes down my posts : ( #artneverdies

This gives me an existential feeling. The start of an eruption in the emptiness. I like the way it becomes 3 dimensional. Some super force trying to blast through the darkness.
First it looked to me like a steel plate banged upon the back. Same energy I guess. Very strong @harj !

wow thats an amazing insight! and very novel in many ways ! richard I like it also and its very close to my interpretation thank you bro! #findinghappinessinemptiness

This is a cool painting. Not gonna lie, it reminds me of a black orange and white gold fish, or the Clownfish like Nemo. I like it in color too, nice contrast. Good artwork man

awwww edgar yes I have heard that and can see that! a fish struggling but I like to think a fish having a PARTAY!! : ) in the sea on its own. lol #edgarlovesart

Excellent work, it always amazes me how many talented steemians there are that I have not found yet! But I got you now!

Dylan thats is the kindest thing to say its heart felt thank you, wish I could give you a hug : ) #Bighugs4dylan

Wow! This is stellar. I really like this work---well done.

awww big panda! your a stellar panda! thank you for your compliments #bigstellarartpanda

my first thought was, pain..
My interpretation of it is, or what I see is,
something got lost at sea (was it a small minnow?)
and didn't really stand a chance to survive,
perhaps because it was to dark?
Guess a big shark came and bit it on two

:)

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Cryptocatz thats a great point small minnow in a great big ocean with the threat of a shark!! : (. Crypto I love your doodles ! : ) thank you

Thank you trexy what did you like about it ? your personal understanding ?

It's an abstract art right?
Your art is so striking. When I look at it it reminds me of one topic in science I taught "underwater volcanoes". 😊

Honestly for me your art symbolizes a firing desire. The desire to overcome all odds. The message being portrayed is to keep pushing until you find the way to which you could freely express yourself.

wow Karyah a firing desire!!! to overcome all to express yourself!! wow I love it! ready to errupt! congratulations of graduating uni!!! I love to come to Manila! : )

Your art says it all. 😉

I am deliberately avoiding the other commentors' posts until I post my interpretation. My first association is with images sent by various spacecraft showing aerial views of a mountain on the surface of the planet Mars. Perhaps a volcano.

Wow I'm glad you did as this is a new insight for me thank you mona. I noticed how you include the whole picture and not like me just the parts #lifeonmars : )

Great! The 'Mars mountain' thought really was the first association that came to my mind.

What do you think of Mars Momadnock life or a dead planet ?

I like your piece, it is very striking and your description is great, I think it is wonderful that you can describe the piece so well ... I myself usually refrain from explaining any of my larger artpieces ( for the past 20+ years... merely because I prefer to hear the viewers take on what they see ....and I do not want to influence them in the experience of my art .... or in other words I am not great at explaining my art ...but lovely to see your piece and to read your words on it !

Awww that's is something that I thought but as the artist also had a interpretation I wanted to let that happen. But as we have seen in this post we all bring a valued insight. #variationofart

Wow, this is a nice one..

I love the touch of textures you gave to this work and more especially the firy 🔥 colors you made.

Your viewpoint is also great.

Nice work mate

It's amazing how your interpretation touches on the texture which at the time of creating did not cross my mind but now I value because of insight by Steemians like you #thesteemianinsight :)

Lol

You are welcome bro

: ) thank you jacobite

Really awe inspiring, at first glance it seemed to me a fiery tear on iron a still picture of the impact.
Then taking a look from a far I started seeing it as a small expanding universe fighting, but so small that may look meaningless.
Give some minutes and I feel drawn to it and I want to get as close as I can back to watch its details again, limping flames and exploding lights.
They have energy to spare but don't know their direction on the grey surface. Yet?
Then a full eye popped from the reds to my mind, well done so many layers to this painting
Wish I could see it IRL :) Have a nice weekend!

This is a very intriguing and well developed assessment I appreciate your efforts and it's amazing how much more we can see with your insight. It creates a platform of discovery. #discovery : )

I love building bonfires during the dark winter time here in Finland.
On your canvas I see this large black area of burned out wood and this small spark trying to survive.
I relate to that as the dark winter surrounds me and tries to put me off. But you can never tell if the wind rises and takes you to a nearby pile of wood or into dry bushes and then you will give all of your power to destroy and create.
The sun is about to rise here and then the month-long night is over. I feel like a survivor, like the spark in the nowhere, now here. :D
I'll follow you. Thank you for your art.

Thank you! hantulio Could you please put your interpretaion on my last art post called "indiffrence" for all of us, your insight would help us : )

With love

harj : ) xoxo
Abstract artist

Brilliant. Love the painting a lot

aww jolt how do you see the painting bro ?

really beautiful art! good gob :)

Awww thank you meert :)

It is always fascinating what one can see and iterprete the abstract art.

Your painting looks like super nova explosion in the vast cosmic ocean.
Even the black and white picture makes it look more realistic.

Awww yes a explosion of life in the cosmic ocean is exactly what I wanted to achieve thank you #lifeinthecosmicocean. : )

Every Start is crucial for development.
I think, even though its your first painting, the title "Indifference" suits it.

Morever, I hoping to see more of your paintings from now on. :)

Awww thank you this was the first I did and will be adding more. I'm glad it's a good fit. : )

Yeah.. Some plain and simple paintings get sold for millions. You could become a billionaire if you are lucky :D

its very amazing painting and impresse me, because i like abstract art and i hope to see your new paintings soon.

Awww thank you, yes I want to do new post today : ) #abstractart

Hi. Interesting painting.
But i have to criticise a little bit.
(technical details criticism begins here) The tension of color to form is off by a little bit. The spaces you crated for the background are too indifferent to have allot of impact. A little life would help. More structure. (technical details criticism over)
(personal criticism starts here)
To make this clear: i don´t hate the painting, i just have some problems with Art that seams to come with a manual. But that´s just my opinion and please don´t take my words to seriously i can´t explain the world.
(personal criticism over)
(poetic part)
To come to a conclusion: If i just see the painting on its own, it creates a story in my head. Like a lonely campfire seen from an Airplane. Or more sinister a burning house in a desert.

Even as a fan of traditional art, i think this is a good painting
(sorry for the bad english it is not my first Language)

Thank you for this feed back, I like your sense of a burning in a dessert. It is the lack of relationships between the two that I try to capture. Thank you #fireanddesert

But also a fire in a desert has a relationship to the desert. Fires cant exist in a vacuum. That makes true indifference impossible.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

our relationship is going beyond the fire in the desert. #indifference is beyond the human but we experience it as we see it, we exist.

No manual with this art just us sharing glimpse of insight our individual interpretations. Mine is no more valid than yours.

I love it. It reminds of an open wound. Thanks for sharing.

Awww yes I can see that! Thanks you limma

It's called being a grain of sand in the universe. to be a pimple on the body of the earth

That's us fresh a grain of sand wow

I like the idea of painting, but too dark to put it in my living room if u know what I mean. However, i think u are talented and should keep up your work. Cheers, pocketrocket

Awww its in my living room and I can say it looks very nice. I'm sure you would like it : ) pocket

Realy thats a great work, being different is always noticeable the brightest shines and makes its surrounding more effective and exposive.

awww thank you hotvines yes I try to do what i think is right for me and im smiling you appreciate it! xxx
