줄거리
어릴 적부터 눈물이 많았던 구름사람은 자신이 왜 이렇게 눈물이 많은 지에 대해 고민을 하지만, 고민은 풀리지 않고 어른이 되서까지 지속이 된다. 그러던 어느 날, 자신을 객관적으로 되돌아보는 시간을 갖게 되면서 우는 이유를 깨닫게 된다. 이후 구름사람은 불완전한 자기 자신을 온전히 받아들이게 되고, 감정을 쌓지 않고 흘려보내는 구름사람만의 방법을 찾아나가게 되면서 이야기는 끝을 맺는다.

구름사람은 드로잉 그림책 학교, 디하우스(D-haus)의 그림책 워크숍을 다니면서 기획한 그림책이다. 어렸을 적부터 눈물이 많았던 나의 이야기를 바탕으로 만들어졌다. 6개월 동안 이 기획을 진행하면서 복잡하게 얽힌 감정들과 생각들을 풀어내는 데에 있어 많이 힘들었지만, 구름사람처럼 불완전한 나를 인정하고 받아들일 수 있게 된 값진 시간이었다고 생각한다. 이야기의 끝을 마무리를 짓지 못해서 언젠가 다시 제대로 풀어내보고 싶다.

The Plot
Cloud man who cried a lot since he was little, worry about why he cried so much, but the worries do not go away until he becomes adult. Then one day, he realizes why he cried a lot as he took the time to look back on himself objectively. The story ends when the cloud-man accepts himself in full, and finds his way without building up emotion.

"Cloud Man" is a picture book created during the D-haus, a school for drawing picture books. It is based on my story, which was had a lot of tears since I was young. It was a difficult time during the six months I worked on this project, but I felt it was worth acknowledging and accepting the imperfect like a Cloud man. I couldn't finish the story, so I would like to get it right one day.
