Red brick wall and wooden window,
Fruits and vegetables in the fields are fresh and sweet.
Red turnip and green cabbage,
Locust jumps up and down on the field.
Autumn wind rises and hoar frost descends,
Hasten to store vegetables.

Today I would like to share with you the painting- cabbage and turnip.
In China, It has been said that eating turnip in winter and eating ginger in summer are good to your body all the year round.

"Compendium of Materia Medica" said that turnip can be eaten raw and cooked; can be salted with salt, vinegar or sugar. it is one of the most beneficial vegetable.
it is cheap and nutritious like Chinese cabbage and they are such vegetables which people eat can have long life. And in some areas, it is called "Caitou", which augurs well.

I painted two kinds of different turnips, one is red, the other is white. Hope you enjoy it.

今天给大家分享一下国画-萝卜。

俗话说，冬吃萝卜，夏吃姜，一年四季好健康。《本草纲目》中说：萝卜可生可熟，可糖可醋可酱可腌制，乃蔬中最有益者。萝卜和白菜一样，价格亲民，营养健康，都是长寿菜。而且在某些地区，萝卜又叫”菜头“，与彩头 谐音。年夜饭里一定要有萝卜，寓意好兆头。

那这么好吃又好看的，我们就来画画吧。

Material 工具：
Chinese brushes 毛笔 3 只
Chinese painting color :
Xuan Paper (raw) 生宣纸
Chinese ink 墨汁
Small tray for washing brushes 笔洗

The Process:

先画几个红萝卜。画出圆圆胖胖的身子。最好是那种清脆可口的。

胭脂和曙红调和画出萝卜。然后再用赭石和胭脂调和画出主叶筋。

藤黄和花青调和画出叶子。

淡墨勾一下叶筋。红萝卜就完成了！

再调淡墨画两个白萝卜。就喜欢那种水分多，甜又脆的。

白菜萝卜来个合影。

萝卜说：白菜兄弟，天气越来越凉了，咱们挤一挤，暖和暖和？
白菜说：挤什么挤，过几天主人看见就把我们都给拔了。

红砖墙，木头窗。地里的蔬果甜又香。

萝卜红，白菜绿。 蚂蚱蹦来又跳去。

秋风起，霜儿降， 急急忙忙把菜藏。
