Pomegranates Are Ripe 多子（石榴图）

Today I want to share with you my painting- pomegranates and their friends. Hope you enjoy it.
Pomegranate was native to the Middle East, and was introduced into China through the western regions(including what is now Xinjiang and parts of Central Asia) during the Han Dynasty.

And then, during the Tang Dynasty, as emperor Wu Zetian loved it very much,it was planted widely in Changan city. pomegranate flowers are so red, when it blooms, you will see a burning garden, very beautiful! Also, pomegranate fruits are dazzlingly beautiful and have a mature beauty.

Though it's difficult to eat, we all know we have to peel its shell carefully and then taste its sweet seeds, it doesn't affect my love for it. When pomegranates are on the market, I will buy a lot of them to press, its juice is really sweet and sour, tastes good!

And as it contains many seeds, which are so red just like rubies, it was a symbol of riches, and implies fertility and fortune in Chinese tradition.

石榴原产于中东地区，在汉代时期，经西域传入我国。石榴花不仅花红似火，石榴果实也是鲜艳夺目，有一种成熟的美丽。唐朝时期，由于武则天特别喜欢石榴，因此大量广泛种植，种植历史已经有几千年了。我也喜欢石榴果，剥开光亮的外皮，就能细细的品尝到它的清脆多汁，就是吃起来比较麻烦。而在石榴大量上市的时候，才几元钱一个，我会买很多，用来榨汁喝，真是酸甜可口。

那这么好的果实当然是入画的，而且它的籽红彤彤的，像红宝石一样，还特别多，所以它又有着富贵、多子多福的寓意。今天就来画画石榴吧。

Material 工具：

Chinese brushes 毛笔5 只
Chinese painting color : 中国画颜料
Xuan Paper (raw) 生宣纸
Chinese ink 墨汁
Small tray for washing brushes 笔洗

The process:

1、先画石榴果实。用花青，藤黄先调出绿色，然后再调一点三绿，接着继续调朱砂，再调曙红，最后调胭脂，画出一个石榴果实。然后再画出两个不同方向的。最后用胭脂加一点墨，点出石榴上的斑点。

2、用另一只笔调墨，画出石榴枝干。

3、再调一点浓墨画出石榴的叶子。最后用花青和三绿勾叶筋。

4、最后画出小鸟和蜜蜂在果园里快乐的飞舞。
