The 2017 Surface Pro no longer comes bundled with a Pen, since according to Microsoft a lot of the previous customers didn't use the Pen all that much. Who knows though.
As for myself, I switched to the Surface because I wanted to work with larger scale art that could be printed on canvases in the future. Basically, I wanted to be able to use Adobe Creative Cloud apps, and obviously iOS doesn't give you that.
I did not know the new Surface Pro's weren't coming with the pen! As expensive as they are even more so now! Hard to believe they had the nerve to do that. I have an older model that I love and just attach to a monitor. I actually switched from the Surface Pro to the iPad Pro because of the software. 😄
