Art of wire wrapping

A few years ago, I became fascinated by the art of wire wrapping thanks to very talented wire wrap artists out there on social media sites. I started out with some wire and some stones and I just twirled the wire around the stone thinking it looked great. Seeing my first pieces now, it wasn’t the greatest pieces. As the years progressed, I developed more techniques and skills and my wire wrapping skills became better as seen in the photo below. It’s still not the best but I’m pretty satisfied with the outcome. Never would I have thought I’d be wire wrapping in a more technical form or could even wire wrap. That means, YOU can do anything if you put your mind and effort into it. It’s a hobby that I absolutely love doing and I also find it to be very therapeutic.
