Portrait ¿How to learn how to draw people in pencil step by step?

in art •  6 years ago

To draw people more easily you should start by choosing the sex of our subject and the position you are going to be in.

#1 as it always begins by plotting the basic forms. It performs the contour of the face, the axis of vertical symmetry and the lines of the eyes, nose and mouth.

#2 takes the pencil and outlines the shape of the facial features, remember that the eyes do not always have that characteristic form of French lemon.

#3 delimits hair, eyes, nose and mouth; And finally clears the guiding lines.

#4 with a soft pencil, e.g. 2b draws more details, such as eyebrows, pupils and irises of the eyes, facial folds, eyelashes and other small details of the face.

#5 finally the realistic touch to our face we will achieve adding the shadows. In the case of faces with a soft pencil, highlights the most important points such as pupils and eyelashes.

#6 emphasize the pupils and eyelashes will give more depth to the look of our character and much more realism. It also marks a little shade of the cheek to refine the face.
