Track & Field Footwear

Color Pencil


I did a lot of track & field events, particularly mostly with pole vaulting. Since I'm a fan of Nike footwear, I wanted to draw some of the shoes in a cool manner.

One day, my shoes were just laying around randomly ... and this was the still life that I decided to depict the shoes.

The warm colors of red and orange contrasting with the cool background colors of blues helps give it contrast and interest.

        Yes pole vaulting can be hard. I love the feeling of going up into the air, but the training was difficult at times.

              Thank you ... I haven't really thought of selling my artwork, as I do art for pleasure. But I'm open to the idea in future.
