Hi, guys!
I don't know how long I will continue this series, but anyway I would like to review all creations of the last year. These are my oil experiments. Why experiments? Usually I used only canvas. While here I tried to use special paper for oil, to check out how it works. I must admit that I remained really happy with it. The only thing it can't give is this effect of indentation you have with canvas, but all the rest is the same. Plus such paper is much cheaper, so more suitable for sketching in oil and different experiments when you're not sure about their results:)

So cute "experiments"!!! I love especially the first, that fish is really beautiful! Have you tryed to use oils on the cardboard of boxes? The thick brown cardboard of the boxes give some satisfactions using oil colors ^_^

I tried, but with such method my workshop becomes soooo messy:) I use oil seldom, so I prefer paper or canvas:)

Does the oil paper require any priming to paint with oils? I'm asking because I'm looking for something to use for practice/experiments that is cheaper and smaller than using canvasses, so this might be just what I need.
