R2D2 3d-modeling story - I finally brought all pieces together:)

in art •  7 years ago

Hi, guys!

May be you remember my post where I was telling about how I was printing, and then coloring my R2D2 model. It's the first one I ever made, and the first one I ever colored, so it looks like a fail, but I learned a lot on my own mistakes:)

I decided to finish the job anyway, so today I can share what came out as a result:

I tried to color it inaccurate on purpose, I thought it will make him look "as from the battle", but seems that I need to learn more about coloring objects, it's really different from drawing on surface.

All these pieces I put together with a super glue:

I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)

Love, Inber

Extraordinary work,

Oh man, that is so cool!!!! Nice job

Went from painting and drawing to 3D , this is pretty amazing . You can put it on your desks and all around the house

Ooh it's awesome! I think I would get very frustrated if I had to paint something like this on such a small scale :D

I remember the first post about it.
Still came out great for a first timer!
There’s only room for improvement.
Steem on :)
