Okay, let's start, in Mural painting, we sometimes improvise, like for example, there are some panel that still doesn't have a design for it, so we show our creativity and resourcefulness in improvising design for it,

This is me, painting doing my work at work, what?? haha

Some of the artworks have already been set for display, and some of it is still in progress,

Here, I started my next artwork, the Big Fish, and it's progression, as I battle the ocean's vicious predator, whatever this thing is called, hahaha

This artwork, I could say, it took a lot of time on me, we even slept together just to finish her scales haha
CAM00269.jpg

And this is what they look like when they're put together, isn't it beautiful when they were together,
wat.jpg

Dad and Eric started doing this underwater scene, its quite large scale, so this one almost ate up all of their remaining time here at the workplace,

it's like our base painter has done their job on us hahaha

All this tiring work is being rewarded by the result that we're trying to reach out, and also the time we spent together is not wasted, we formed this bond being together for quite a long time,

come on guys, tell us when you're taking a photo like that, haha

finishing one artwork here, doesn't mean you're done, it only means that you are able to jump to the next one, haha
DSC_0731.jpg
here I helped Kuya Emman, finish this mountain view, so I get to hug my new assignment haha

Once again, I get to retouch some of our artist's work,
DSC_0641.jpg
without time to waste, I started after planning what can I do to reverse the curse of this witch haha
DSC_0669.jpg
would you look at that, a big change happened haha I lifted the curse,
DSC_0678.jpg
a bit of finishing touches and Its done,

One by one panel is being set, while we paint our artwork, simultaneously being done, with no more than 10 artist,
all set.jpg

We're running out of time, with less than a month of time frame given to us to finish everything, we go to the biggest hurdle in life we encounter, a large area where panel as high as 12 feet, where we are going to paint different section of fantasy world, so we get to pick our section, and I picked the "Big Tree",
done with the base paint, we started to slowly sketch our plans and immediately execute it,
DSC_0732.jpg

as it is we can't finish it on time, with few people we have, so we call for help once again, this time, Kuya Ricky brought his son with him to lend us a hand, meet Jacob Magat
CAM00496.jpg

and also one of our friend, Mark Malana
13619957_10209762246563354_2619380600116359381_n.jpg

And once more kuya Emman Rafallo
13599806_10209762240283197_3979465700301631621_n.jpg

and so we got everything, we continue to battle our way to finish this gallery on time,
DSC_0734.jpg
and sometimes we just want to unwind, and release the wacky side of us, not to get all gloomy with what kind of pressure we have,
DSC_0735.jpg

This artwork, I got to do is not that hard, cause I was given a chance to do all the root thing by my own discretion so it may look like unrealistic, well to start with, a tree with eyes and nose and mouth for a door is unrealistic already haha
13600292_10209762216002590_8437175934522573492_n.jpg
this is just the second layer of it,

13600001_10209762225122818_706967205178575658_n.jpg
everyone is doing their best to meet the deadline, working late night,
DSC_0772.jpg

Working on top of scaffolding is my first time, and I'm a bit scared of heights so, it's natural to have a shaky footing, but whatever the circumstances may be, we still continue to work,
CAM00428.jpg

CAM00454.jpg

I admire this kid's talent, such a young age, he can work side by side with veterans, I started to ask myself, what have I been doing all this year of my life haha
CAM00494.jpg

Day after day, our hard labor come to fruition, seeing the result of our passion, is quite rewarding for us, the feeling of achieving the result we desire,
DSC_0787.jpg

And those time we come down from the scaffold our feet sometimes going shaking, it's tiresome but rewarding at the same time,
DSC_0779.jpg

Halfway there,
DSC_0763.jpg
At last, I'm free from the heights of the scaffold, for the meantime, haha

My Dad is almost done also,
DSC_0801.jpg

We sometimes do dangerous stuff, just to accomplish our goal,
DSC_0762.jpg

DSC_0777.jpg

Okay, almost done I guess, just placing my door here, so that I could enter the eight realms inside this big tree,
CAM00489.jpg

and who said you can't pose on the job haha, here's kuya Ricky posing for a shot, oh yeah, that dramatic feel haha
CAM00491.jpg

On this one, Who is working and who is posing? hahaha
CAM00501.jpg

Here is a proof that sometimes an artist can be cute and cuddly in front of the camera hahaha
CAM00505.jpg

often time we need to see our work from afar, so we could see a wider range and detect what area is in need of improvement,
CAM00516.jpg

It's been all work work work, here's some of our time in our temporary shelter,
CAM00522.jpg
we sometimes go for a photo walk, haha because when you see her, you just can't resist taking a picture of her,
DSC_0816.jpg
I just love how the sunrise compliment her coat,

Back to business, now I can say this part, I'm almost done, and I get to practice using an airbrush,
DSC_0822.jpg
and so I demonstrate how it should be shot, haha I'm just so happy I get to finish this part of my artwork,
DSC_0834.jpg
Welcome home, haha
