Given the circumstances of the world today when we talk about art, it is impossible not to mention one of the oldest artistic expressions such as handwriting is. Handwriting dates approximately from the Medieval times since in those times everything was written by hand , really different from today that Everything is done mostly digital . Anyone can simply download an a font from internet and make their own logo without hiring anything else that the internet service, it is important speak and give the deserved merit to this artistic expression, and perhaps take things a bit to the past, obvious without taking into account that we live in a digital age and we can accommodate it without losing the true essence.

My name is Israel Peña this is my second post and I will talk a little about one of my most developed skills in the artistic field.

• What led me to learn this style:

When i started in the world of tattooing this was the style for which I was most requested for and well .... as the vast majority of tattoo artists obviously downloaded the internet typographies trrace them and tattooed them ... With time I started to hate the idea of making letters, they seemed boring and insipid. Until I decided to Find a way to enjoy what I was doing and I could appreciate what can really be achieved with this style. It started with my self-taught practice which still continued every day.

As a lover of heavy and aggressive music, my style ended up being defined by the logos of those bands which only an expert in the field could understand.

Over time I Find many artists who are dedicated to this branch of art and Obviously I found much more interest. And I notice that many of these people try to make a living in this way, but in the market in which we find ourselves today referring to art they are not very appreciated, o at least not recognized by everyone. And sincerely they deserve a greater recognition, from the community of artists as well as the public.

Of course we must also understand as artist that we are in a new era , and me like many other artists who dedicate ourselves to this style, must find a way to make it relevant. Whether it's enhancing an already established design or drawing, making logos, etc ...

Later I'll be doing some tutorials to anyone who would like to learn . They will be so simple that even a child can learn.
