ART EXPLOSION WEEK 56: The Young Woman and The Grim Reaper // La mujer joven y la Parca

For the unconventional nude contest´s organized by @juliakponsford. I thought:

A young naked woman meeting the Grim Reaper,

she knows that her life will end soon,

her pose of repentance and her elusive gaze (hidden by her long hair),

she doesn´t want to see the Grim Reaper.

While It laughs,

it knows that she wasn´t entirely good,

and the trip to hell has it assured.

Para el concurso de desnudo poco convencional organizado por @juliakponsford. Pensé:

Una joven mujer desnuda conoce a la Parca,

Ella sabe que su vida terminará pronto,

su pose de arrepentimiento y su mirada esquiva (oculata por su largo cabello)

Mientras él se rie,

sabe que ella no ha sido del todo buena

y el viaje al infierno lo tiene asegurado.

Process/ Proceso:

1. I did the sketch with black permanent marker.
2. I started coloring the flames with watercolors.
3. I colored the two characters, the woman and the grim reaper.
