The black hole on the way to the muses to find some inspiration for some new creation

In this blog I try to write down the search for the muse, hoping to better understand the rhythm of the creation, trying to tune the boundaries of my fantasy to the contours of the culture in which I live.
Because every creative brain is looking for satisfaction.

The black hole during the search for the next creation I try to fill as much as possible with new information and knowledge. While I am mentally and physically surrounded with the nine muses.

Already in Greek mythology we were looking for the ultimate stimulus of our creative brain. Where both the inventor, performer and spectator were bewitched by the goddesses of creativity.

  • Calliope Epic poetry Writing tablet, Stylus, Lyre
  • Clio History Scrolls, Books, Cornet, Laurel wreath
  • Euterpe Music, Song, and Lyric Poetry Aulos (an ancient Greek musical instrument like a flute), panpipes, laurel wreath
  • Erato Love poetry Cithara (an ancient Greek musical instrument in the lyre family)
  • Melpomene Tragedy Tragic mask, Sword (or any kind of blade), Club, Kothornos (boots)
  • Polyhymnia Hymns Veil, Grapes (referring to her as an agricultural goddess)
  • Terpsichore Dance Lyre, Plectrum
  • Thalia Comedy Comic mask, Shepherd's crook (the vaudeville act of pulling someone off the stage with a hook is a reference to Thalia's crook), Ivy wreath
  • Urania Astronomy Globe and compass

Whether you are a baker or a smith or an artist, we try to find the temptation of creating again and again. This on a physical or spiritual level. Again and again the limits of our fantasy skim to a new creation, where our senses are stimulated and unite to something that was not there yet.

In search of the satisfaction to satisfy the primal force to continue to grow.

While I surround myself with music from Erykah Badu and was inspired by the BBC docu Civilizations. I started the search for a new creation. Playing with shapes and colors in combination with feeling and already existing creations. I try to bring something that can charm both myself and the spectator.

In which I use the painting Les Demoiselles d'Avignon by the grand master Piccasso as an image.

Some made sketches (editing of existing photographs) in Photoshop, which will serve to make a new painting with acryl on canvas.

I like your post a lot :)
Your art is very colorful and that is great.
It makes my eyes sing :)
So thank you for that !

Creative energy is one of the best there is :)
Whenever I am down a bit I try to focus on creating something.
The end result is not the most important, although it is rewarding
if it turns out nice :)
It is an energy I really cannot do without.
Through life I had so many creative hobby's and loved them all.
Many came but also many I lost intrest in after a while.
At the moment an old one is back :)
I used to take a lot of photos of festivals, then stopped.
Now I love making mostly Macro photos of flowers
but also architecture and animals.
The feeling it gives me is priceless :)

Have a nice day !

Thanks for the nice comments, it is always nice to hear that people like your creations and create things themselves
