A peace of Mind

This is another one of my minimalist paintings. I worked with colors that hopefully invoke a feeling of relaxation and well being. I guess you could call it therapeutic art.
In this painting and many of my mountainscapes, I used the pallet knife to create rock textures. it's like spreading peanut butter on the bread bread. I also used a lot of metallic gold paint on this one. You can really see it on the rocks, trees, and leaves.
I could have added more background such as mountains and a distant shore. I decided in the end to just leave it plain as this is all about minimalism. It's a foggy morning so the visibility is still a bit low.
This type of art is great as it's both fun to paint and looks great on the wall :)
