Second crypto painting I did and definitely not the last one. This one was a bit of a struggle, but it paid back in the end.

Halo bull, 6x5 feet oil on canvas.

So this is my second painting that CEO of https://www.haloplatform.tech/ (Halo Coin) Scott Morrison commissioned me to do. For those who missed the ICO of this hot upcoming project (sold out) stay tuned. From what I hear from Scott Halo is launching at the end of January and many of my experienced crypto friends are:

• heavily invested in it
• very optimistic about it
• patiently waiting for the launch

From my side, I was so damn busy painting the last two paintings that I had not much time left pondering about markets. Of course the yesterday's/today's crash did not skip my attention and I did quite a few shopping trips on many different exchanges. I namely loaded up the truck on VEN, NLG, EOS and STEEM. Yes this is my first buy of STEEM and I will be buying more, especially after reading these two awesome articles of @lukestokes and @kevinwong :

When I said that this one was bit of a struggle to deliver, this is what I meant. I had the idea of a bull right off the bat and started painting it.

This is how it looked after couple hours, first layer done

but then I felt stalled and my inspiration flow pretty much stopped, so I dedicated myself to the creation of the Halo Lion, which you saw in my previous Halo blog.

When I was done with the Lion, sitting on the floor looking at it, it finally struck me.

out of nowhere as usually...

I suddenly knew...

THAT THE HALO BULL NEEDED AN ASTRONAUT TO RIDE IT!!!

Rest was piece of cake. Well, not really, it still cost me days and days of long paintings sessions to break through to the final version.

..but really it was the jumping whale and the rocket taking off that sealed the deal!

After these symbolic elements were put in place it was indeed a ride on a bull. Bumpy but fast as fuck :D

Isn't this all that we want in crypto world? Become a whale as we ride our favorite crypto picks to the moon? As far as it's used for higher good, I am ALL IN!

I sent the picture to Scott yesterday and he was over the moon. Especially about the small Halo details that you might have not noticed on the big image. Check it out:

Yesterday I was blessed by the visit of Peter Spina, CEO of Goldseek and Silverseek and a very active crypto trader, in my studio, and he was mesmerized by the Halo paintings and immediately ordered a commissioned painting for himself :)

I hope you guys enjoyed the creation process of this special piece. I am off to the art store to buy a large canvas and start Peter's painting today. No time to waste!
