Examining The Remarkable Work Of A Great Artist

Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!

While studying a few sculptures by Lorenzo Quinn that caught my eye recently I discovered that he had a great deal more variety than I realized and I also found out that he was the son of actor Anthony Quinn.

So anyway, there were so many other great sculptures that I wanted to share a few. I think you'll enjoy these:

He talks about this particular sculpture:

"“I wanted to sculpt what is considered the hardest and most technically challenging part of the human body,” the artist said. “The hand holds so much power – the power to love, to hate, to create, to destroy.”

This one is in a park in London and it's called "I will catch you if you fall."

To call Lorenzo Quinn a fine artist somehow seems inadequate. I see him more as a modern day Rodin or Bernini. It's exciting to think that we have many more years of his creative genius to enjoy.
