Micro Vases, Wood-Fired Porcelain Hand Thrown, 5-8 cm tall. (Pottery)

These are some of my most recent creations, wood fired miniature porcelain vases!


They are about 2-3 inches in height each or 5-8 centimeters. They were each hand thrown on a full size wheel using cone 10 porcelain. For a glaze they were just dipped in a flashing slip.


After being sanded by hand they were added to the McLennan Community College Wood Fire Kiln, which is amazing fun and a lot of responsibility. And after being blasted by 2,000 degree temperatures all night I came out with these awesome boys and girls!
