2nd Semester of ceramics was a SUCCESS!

in art •  8 years ago

It takes me about 5-15 minutes to throw something on the wheel depending on how large or complex; then if you add the time of drying the clay, making handles, adding glaze, and firing. I would say it would take an entire day to finish a single cup. But you try to do them in groups to maximize efficiency.

I am still a novice so my answer is probably far from what it should be, haha.

Thank you for explaining it to me, i want to try it one day in a workshop!

I highly recommend it, if you ever get the chance to try it out it can be very stress relieving and balancing.
