BE YOUR BEST
A very common and harmful habit I see in others is constantly comparing their life and themselves to other people and their lives.
Your subconscious mind allows yourself to compare physical appearance, cars, houses, money, relationships, and so on. At the end of the day you're only ruining your self-esteem and creating a lot of negative feelings.
Instead of comparing yourself to everyone else, why not compare yourself to yourself.
Take a second and reflect back to last year.
Have you made any progress? Is life still not heading in the direction that you've always wanted? Do you still have debt that your wanting to pay off? Are you still stuck at that dead end job? Are you still out of shape and want to start working out?
Have you made any real significant progress towards the life that you desire?
If your answer is No, then you know what to do. GET TO WORK.
However, if your answer was Yes, then you must be doing something right.
Stay patient and keep working towards what you want to accomplish.
These are the types of things you should be focusing on. Not everyone else and what they're doing.
If you truly want to be happy then make progress with your own life.
Progress = Happiness.
It's that simple.
