Chainsaw carved caninessteemCreated with Sketch.

In this post I'll share what, in my opinion, is the most difficult to carve. Dogs..

Most of the time I get it right and portray a likeness, but with dog portraits, sometimes it doesn't cut it. Maybe it's just unsatisfied customers, or they're just the type of people that are hard to satisfy. I have learned over the years how to spot those type of people.
Anyway back to some more pictures...

Most customers are very happy with the results...some even cry with joy

This is a dog project I'm currently working on..almost ready to paint.

Just a few canines I've carved, not all of them. I don't want to bore you so I'll keep the post semi short.
I hope you enjoy seeing what I "saw"....if so feel free to upvote and resteem.

waw it is very nice i love that

I think that dog people are just a difficult crowd at times, your carvings are great!
Do you exclusively use a chainsaw or you have some more carving tools for the finer details?

Thank you @pznoodle I use mostly the saw but not exclusively. I'll use grinders, dremels, foredom, chisels and finish off with the airbrush.

One more question if you won't mind, what do you do with all the chips and scraps you make while carving? I'm assuming there's a substantial lot of it made?

I have a number of people take scrap and sawdust. Also pay to get it removed and brought to be composted

Very beautiful maiden. It seems like a real puppy. But it is made of wood.It looks great, it's absolutely true @jonatftforest dear
