As we all know, mother's day is tomorrow. The wife and I both didn't know what to get for our mothers. So I figured I'd carve something quick and get the family involved.
This was the result within an hour or two today...
A couple primitive chainsaw carved roses...
One for my mother and one for the wife's.
Literally only took 20 minutes to carve both of them.
They stand about 12 inches tall, here they are carved with the chainsaw only.
We know our mother's will love them,
And we know they will love them even more, knowing their grandson helped in creating them.
He's always excited to paint and we enjoy letting him make a colorful mess.
