Drawing of "Forest Fairy" Technique: Colored Pencils

Hello friends of Steemit, this time I have come to show you a drawing made by me, in this drawing I am inspired by one of my favorite styles that is the fantasy to make a "Fairy of the Forest", the fairies are fantastic creatures of Greek and Roman myology, are characterized by being beautiful women with colorful wings, I will show you what is part of the process with which I was doing until I reached the final drawing already finished.

As I already told you, I was inspired by a "Forest Fairy" but I wanted to reflect two seasons that are spring where I painted many warm colors with strong tones to achieve a good contrast, in the other I made winter where I placed cool colors to give that feeling of winter and for last I did something more free putting the colors that are the union of the cold colors with the warm ones.

Realization Process

Step 1: We start with a sketch and with our clear idea of what we are going to do and start to draw, to sketch it has worked for me to take the pencil three fingers from the tip upwards so that clear lines could be achieved and then Fix some error without having to damage the canvas.

Step2: After having your Sketch already finished, As you can see in the same sketch I do a color test to see what colors work best for our art, as I said this is not the clean drawing as such.

Step3: When we are sure that colors work well, we will take the sketch to a clean sheet to start coloring it.

We start with the warm colors in the spring season, the warm colors convey joy, movement, warmth ...
Here we use Red - Orange - Yellow and its derivations.

Step4: In this part of the drawing we begin with the winter season, with cold colors that give the sensation of ice, the poles, the snow ...
Here we use Light blue - Celeste - Navy blue - Purple and its derivations.

Step5: And finally we use the cold and the warm ones and we combine them
Here we use Red - Orange - Yellow and Light blue - Celeste - Navy blue - Purple and its derivations.
