I agree, though pencil is my only drawing tool I love using it and being able to be more precise or erase if you mess up, adds a nice flair to it as well, shading or no shading. :)

Beautiful! I have a question and it may be a dumb one since I'm not an artist (I wish I could draw or paint):
When you're drawing something without looking at another picture or person or whatever, do you clearly see the image in your head and then you copy that onto a paper? Or do you just come up with what to add where as you're drawing? Or both?

It's kind of weird to explain. We can clearly see the image in our head, But we don't always know how to achieve the effects that we see in our head. It really depends on our skill level on that. But we also can come up with more stuff to add. So a mix of both :)

Yikes! is that your pencil? It looks like a dental instrument. I got anxious just looking at it. Beautiful drawing though. The way you capture the emotion in the eyes just amazes me, both here and in your anime. For you, what's the most difficult part of a drawing like this? The eyes, nose, lips, hair?

I love this technique, when I was a teenager only had 1 pencil and a notebook to draw, and then stop doing so, i resume this practice since I started in Steemit... here I learned to apply color, but the pencil is still my favorite.

wow, i love this art. i was truly amazed looking her eyes in this drawing coz i can see there was an emotion on it. and i do believe as an artist it was very difficult to draw the eyes coz that part, the artist made their effort to emphasize what emotions they want to put.

I like the expression of the eyes drawn. The eyes can draw great attention. The blending of the different tones of shading was good. Work in progress as still cannot see all the hair yet. This is a portrait of a very attractive and beautiful lady for sure!

Drawing with a Pencil is a different Art altogether. It gives a black and white like feelings to the drawings. Facial expressions can be easily understood through a pencil drawing.

Wow amazing! I suck with pencils,and at realism so I'm always super impressed with people who are experienced and talented with them. I like that it's easy to paint over paint and never know what was there before, with pencils it's hard to erase without leaving a smudge, at least for me lol

That's beautiful! You're so talented. I want to take art classes so badly. I have so many images that I see in my head that are super creative and pretty, but I have no idea how to transfer them to paper. It's actually pretty frustrating sometimes. I bet it feels really good to get your art out of your head.
