Your usual drawing has better blending of dark and light tone shading actually. The whole face is really well-drawn just the shading part that I don't see your usual standard. Nevertheless, you can still draw much better than me as I am not really a good artist even though did a few years in school during my teenage years.

love your sketching style and to see the process is such a beautiful thing. i actually draw a lot of half-faces, meaning i do only the left or right side of the fac, or sometimes just leave out an eye, so i really laughed at your "people look weird with only one eyebrow!" because im sure many people have thought that about my sketches. i dont know, i feel differently. i think it leaves a bit for the mind to imagine the symmetry - and thats why i like it. or else im just lazy ;p
