This is a oil painting I did 10 yrs ago in 2006 after being inspired by a The Joy Of Painting Marathon of watching Bob Ross paint nature scenes. Some of you may remember Bob Ross as the afro sporting soft spoken white guy who paints "happy little trees". He is one of my favorite painters because of his ability to paint scenes with ease and his ability to show you as well how to paint these scenes at home with basic methods.

Of course Bob Ross with his happy little trees and happy little clouds. I love him - may he rest in peace. That is a mighty fine job on the painting. I love the different shades of green on the trees. It really makes it pop.
