Any Visual Organizers Out There? Share Your Studio Tips?

Hellooo Steemiverse.

I am reaching out seeking advice today as I sit surveying my incredibly messy studio and finally admit to myself that I have a problem.

You see - I am a visual organizer. Or maybe I'm a piler. I'm not sure what to call it.

Basically, I have a fear of putting things away, because I'll forget about them. I need to have things out where I can see them and think about them. Is anyone else like this?

Out of sight is out of mind for me.

Typically, I'll have my current project on the work table. I'll have two or three side projects sitting in piles nearby. And then I'll have several piles of other things that I want to think about because I think there's potential for something interesting.

And then I have my supplies. Little bits of fabric. Things I can't throw out because I think I can do something with them. And balls and balls of wool

We just reorganized the apartment so that my work area has more space. It was that or rent a studio and I'm not quite there yet.

So I have an opportunity to set this up so that it really works for me, but it needs to be little to no cost.

Advice? Ideas? Commiseration?

Happy Easter! Go paint some eggs. : )

It sounds like you could use some vertical organizers—maybe some kind of fence-like screens that you can cover your walls with and them use hooks to hang pockets and shelves, etc

That's a great idea. Maybe like peg board?
