A quick watercolor calligraphy of a protagonist from Neal Shusterman's novel Scythe -the first book of his Arc of a Scythe Trilogy. Sycthe Anastasia or Citra Terranova.
I choose to be known as scythe Anastasia after the youngest member of the family Romanov
she was the product of a corrupt system, and because of that, was denied her very life—as I almost was
had she lived who knows what she might have done. perhaps she could have changed the world and redeemed her family name. choose to be scythe Anastasia. I vow to become the change that night have been. Neal Shusterman, Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)
Scythe is basically about a world where there's no death, no disease, no pain, and when people were hit by a car or fell off a building, they can just be easily revived. Because there is no natural way to die anymore, scythes have to take the place of death. Scythes have the power to take out lives or what is called in the book as "gleaning". This book is really interesting. I'm currently reading the second book entitled Thunderhead which was just released last month. If you want to read this series as an e-book, you can buy it at Google Play Books as that's where I read the series: Scythe, Thunderhead.
Thank you for reading!
Nice work.👏
