Diva in Mexico - Oil painting

in art •  7 years ago

I painted this in Fabian's garden in Mexico City. Once i saw big cucaracha, and i thought : " If only Diva would be here"!
So, i placed her middle of the garden. :)

Great post. Once thing I've learned in life is "Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs."

yeah, truth! Thanks and cheers!

Such a BEAUTIFUL painting Vesna. Love the rainforest quality. It has a feeling of Henri Rousseau about it with Diva as the perfect jungle cat. Resteemed. 🦋

Thanks so much allyinspirit!

You are really super talented! I would like be your student :)

Thank you so much! :-)

stunningly beautiful 💛

Phoenician cargo ships are thought to have brought the first domesticated cats to Europe in about 900 BC.

O, that's interesting! Thanks catfacts!

A cat's field of vision is about 200 degrees.

I know that one - really cool painting. You didn't have her with you - she would have had a blast hunting cucaracha, lol

Hello, @krasnec! I just discovered your Steemit profile thanks to a resteem from @gric.

You have such marvelous paintings here, but this one is my favorite so far. It brings back beautiful pictures from home (I'm Mexican, living in Germany). Great job capturing the exuberant native vegetation! It all looks so fresh and inviting.
