Some Paintings and a Hello!

Hope everyone is well. Here are a few creations from today. I am settling in at my new place and really like it. I started painting this one last night. Acrylic on Canvas. I enjoy the combination of different styles here.

This next one is digital and is another style I like. It is reminiscent of another piece called "Stitched" that's one of my favorites. This is a new paint app for me. It doesn't have all the tools I would like. But I switched to Desktop, so I need to finda good app for Windows. If you know of one..let me know! Anyways, I think this turned out interesting.

This is a Gourd I painted. I did one last year but it broke. So, this one is different, but I like it.

Thanks for looking at my ART! Love to everyone! Going to cook a wonderful meal for my guys and have a cozy night inside. It's been cold here in Indiana. But, the trees are beautiful...so, there's that.

Be gentle. Be kind. It's the only way. <3 #makeartnotwar

Wow. There is so much depth and feeling in that first one. There is some aspect that I can't describe that is pulling me in. The energy of it all mixed with the colors is very nice.

For all of my digital photo editing and painting I use Gimp. It is an open source software that you can download and install for free. If you are familiar with photoshop at all it has a similar layout and many of the same features. I wouldn't say it can do everything that photoshop can do, but it is perfect for artists like me that need high end results with little to no expense. Here is the link to the download straight from their site: www.gimp.org/downloads/

Thanks for sharing. I am following for more. :)

There's lots of great texture in that acrylic piece. Do you have an outcome in mind when you start, or do you just go in with no set plan and see what happens?

I Fly by the seat of my Spirit per se. :) <3
