"Scars Of The Past" Original Watercolor and Water Markers Painting

I thought I'd share with you, my latest painting called: "Scars Of The Past".
I have been feeling let down lately by a person that was special to me. A person that helped me through my tough childhood and so I created this painting to remind myself and many of you out there, that no matter how bad your past is: it is just past. What counts is the work you do in the present to create a better future.

Then I drew the edges of the character with a water marker:

Then I added some more edges and some shadows:

Then some colour:

And then the colours that accompanied me throughout my life:
