A Journey Through my Art Over the Years. (some nude art)

in art •  7 years ago

Every now and then I like to gather all of my art and post it chronologically to see where I started and where I have gone.

It will be interesting to see the development this time around as I recently got very into painting and have been doing mostly colored artwork. For most of my life I stuck to graphite and tried to perfect realistic portraits. I loved doing them and people were amazed at the skill but it was lacking...something. It was lacking me. I didn't put enough of myself into my art and thus nobody was much interested in it. I actually have a lot more interest in my art now that I started painting with no references and just letting myself pour into it.

While I still want to go back to perfecting my portraits I want to also add more humanity to my art. We have AI now that can create technically awesome work so how valuable really is it to be able to draw super realistically if you don't add another element to your art? Anyways, that is enough rambling...take a look at my art from over the years.

That last one is still in progress

Woah. I had a lot more art than I realized. There is at least 20 pieces I didn't include just to make sure the post didn't take hours to look through. It is really neat going back and seeing my really old mediocre fan art and stuff and comparing it to my newer art. Also, seeing how much more darkness and rawness goes into my creations now. I didn't even include digital art in this post. I stuck to my pencil art and paintings. Sorry for the few that showed up tiny.

I hope seeing my art maybe inspired a few people!

Post more! Its clear you have an excellent understanding of proportion and it shows in your portraits! Incredible attention to detail, and I like that its clear you are progressively finding your style that is your own.

Don't stop!

Thank you. I certainly won't stop. It is hardwired into me...the need to create. Thanks so much. :)

Gosh I love all your stuff! When I first added you years ago, I remembered being so excited for you to accept my Facebook request because I wanted to see all of your awesome art hehe.

Awwww. blush Gee... I had no idea. Thanks.

I really miss doing serious pencil portraits but they took me so many hours and I have such limited time lately. I also have been really enjoying painting. I suppose I will find my way back to pencil work when I am ready. :)

Wow! Your very talented! I wish you the best of luck I hope someone big notices your work :)

haha the chances of me being discovered are pretty low right now because of my disability that keeps me secluded. I can't do art shows at all but I still enjoy creating. Even more than that, I need to create. :) Thank you so much.

Well your great anyways and that's good that you continue to do the things you enjoy! That's the most important thing :)
