Wednesday Art Sharing Time!

Every Wednesday, I let my daughter, Nebula Vincent take over my Steemit account to share her artwork with you guys! Nebula is 12 years old, unschooled, and she loves to draw. She also loves the Percy Jackson fantasy novel series by Rick Riordan, and a lot of her drawings these days are of her favorite characters from the books.

Today, she's sharing some more of her Percy Jackson fan art. We hope you enjoy it!

All of the SBD payout from this post will go to Nebula, who is saving up for her own laptop so that she can have her own Steemit account (and play Minecraft.)

This picture is of Hazel Lavesque, one of my favorite Percy Jackson characters. I used watercolor pencils, so I may have accidentally used too much water and gotten a hole in her face...

This one is of Leo and Calypso. Calypso's dress is my favorite part.

Just Calypso! I love her hair in this one.

We love you, Steemit!

"Nebula is 12 years old, unschooled" One of the best things I heard someone say about their kid :D She gonna be rich growing up without the rehearsing education system and starting with Steemit (soon~ish) on such an early age!

There's a lot of doubt and anxiety that comes with educating your child in the exact opposite way that 99% of society does it. And yet, every day, I find my choice validated as I observe her growing into such a smart, talented, and kind young woman.

When you see some of the behaviours and morals our society has you shouldn't... Trust into your own decisions! :)

Hi @lesliestarrohara, its nice you love to support your daughters passion,

Like i when those days young, i love to draw and paint,
And only today that I try to draw again, i dont know if you can appreciate it!

Keep the love comin
