Another representative of critical realism in Russian painting Vasily Perov (1834-1882).

Perov is a master of household painting, expression of sorrow and sympathy to the destitute and humiliated, merciless Revelator of darkness and powerlessness of people's lives.
In 1870 he became one of the founders of the Association of traveling art exhibitions, a society of artists who sought to educate the masses.

The hero of the painting "Boy-craftsman, looking at the parrot" causes a keen sense of empathy, concern for their fate. Boy, zasmotrevshihsya a parrot in someone else's window, despite their miserable existence, full of bright dreams and hopes.
The picture of a pronounced romantic representation of Perov about the purity and spirituality of the child's soul can happily surprise, excite yourself at a meeting with a mysterious and wonderful.
In the hands of the boy food, which he apparently bears to his master. Under his arm - a bottle of vodka. The boy is late, and we can assume that it will be punished.
