F9EA9DEE-F9C4-4CE9-B2F8-359F12FB3F8D.jpeg It seems to be popular amongst today’s artists to describe their art in great detail then take the viewer along through the entire process. I don’t understand this and I think it is a mistake. You shouldn’t feel like you need to hold the hand of the viewer and walk them through every color and detail and pull the curtain back on everything you do. What you end up doing is explaining your art to death. People are smart and perceptive so leave something to perceive. Well, that’s my advice to young artists. Don’t explain your art to death. Now onward....
