LESSONS FOR MY ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ( CHANGING NEGATIVE VEIWS OF THE PAST )

What l do with every lesson that is provided to me is
draw the characters in my own style. I do this to influence
the kids to explore their own imagination and talents.

You see in order for a child to be artistically
free of adult restrictions they must have
freedom to do so.
We as mentors must encourage them to
find themselves, build self worth and confidence
through art. It doesn’t matter what kind of
media we use.

I have high respect the Artist who have through out history
changed the negative images of black children and white
children’s images of those who look different from them
and continue to do so.

We as adults have a responsibility to lift up
children’s self esteem no matter what ethnic
group they are in. As l continue to work
with children l will put forth my best effort
to open their hearts and minds.
