This piece was done in celebration of my new heart and second chance on life. I first started with pencil drawing lightly than added pen and ink. I did the shape of the tree and leaves put in the face and detail using contour lines, hatching, and stippling technique. Afterwards l did stippling on the grass and leaves using different color greens. For the final touch l used light grey marker for the background. Hours of completion thirty two. Size 20 by 24 and half inches.
