Growing up in the 80’s as i did,you couldn’t help but notice Madonna – or Madge as she affectionatly became known. She was a style icon back then.Every girl wanted to be her. We would dress up like her. You could see little mini-me’s walking down the street,especially at the weekends when we would all dress up in our finery and do the steps to True Blue down at the local youth club. Everyone wondered what style she would go.,and she was always pushing the boundaries for women back then. Now? I guess other women have taken on that mantle. But as for Madge, i don’t know, maybe i’m getting older but she didn't get to be so influential with me. Ever since the Erotica album. I’m sure i’m not the only one either.
