Here is my artwork of underwater creature. -The Jellyfish

There are many types of Jellyfish species and so their characteristics. But in 200+ kinds of this sea creature, I have my own name for my jellyfish. It is the enchanting Light Glowing Jellyfish.

Too excited how I made it? Let's do begin.

The process of the Light Glowing Jellyfish -art by Oil Pastel

In making this piece, purchasing expensive art materials is not required. You only need to have these basic materials: oil pastel and sketch pad. (Any clean or white paper will do)

Here we go!

First, have your jellyfish image. -I used oil pastel instead of pencil for sketching.

Next, give colors on it. Then rub the applied color to have a blend. -Use your fingers as it is the easiest and quickest technique but you can also use cotton.

Add some little details for jellyfish. -Connected spots for its body and little tentacles.

To make it obviously its in under water world, add bubbles all around the subject.

For the background, use neutral color (black) to give the jellyfish a light glowing look.

You can use fine coloured pen or pencil for the narrow areas to ensure your neutral-coloured background.

In this case, you need to be more patient for darkening the background.

You can make black outlines first before making the whole background to make it easier.

And there you have it! The Light Glowing Jellyfish.

My goal for this art is to achieve the light and glowing look. It was possible. When I see the final outcome of my piece, my eye rejoices.

Art makes our life brighter and more interesting where you can also decorate it.
