Nice job James. Who did you study with?

Thank you! I studied with Juliette Aristides. She has her own atelier in Seattle WA at The Gage Academy of Art :)

Nice, I have her Classical Drawing Atelier book.

That's a good one! I've lost count on how many times I've read that myself! ^^

I used to go to the open model sessions at Gage for a little while! I live too far away now, but it was great.

They were great! I tried to go to as many as I could during atelier training. We even had a separate event each week called "portrait club" where all our classmates would take turns posing. It's too bad I missed seeing you around. Do you still have Fox as a regular model? We had her a lot and she was wonderful :)

Oh man, she's awesome! I haven't work with her in a while but I would love to again. She is the best natural model I've ever had the privilege to work with. She's so aware of every aspect of her posing, down to individual fingers even, it's impressive.

I would completely agree! That seems to be a rare skill in these times. Believe me..we had our fair share of sub par models in the atelier ;D I can really tell you enjoyed working with her by looking at your work. Putting her ever changing hair color aside for a moment, her aesthetic attributes seem to harmonize very well with chromatically pushed paintings.
