British illustrator John Holcroft draws unique digital illustrations that depict what is wrong with the world today. His work of art resembles advertisements from the 1950s.

7 Things Wrong With The World In 7 Days.

Each one told through the work of John Holcroft.

Day 1 - ELECTRONICS

We live in a world where X and Y buttons teach sports, a world where electronics replace the babysitter. Children are sitting in front of a gaming system non-stop instead of outside playing with friends. Parents are dealing with back talk from their children because online video games don't pause. I've been in a front of a screen since I have memory, but I think is really cool that any children can exploit their abilities and their curiosity with technology. Obviously, there's a lot to consider but I think the overall impact is positive

I agree with you. My daughter plays learning games on my phone and loves them. I think it's good as long as it is in moderation. Once children become teens I think that sometimes they get carried away with video games.
