Landscape out of Straight horizontal lines and correction marker pointillism - office art by @mariandavp

I wasn't feeling content to stop at minimalism today so I took my pens out and tried again something I've tried only once in the past; drawing using only straight horizontal lines.

I executed my plan this way, but in the end something felt missing. Maybe a few flowers or some light in the background.

So here you have it; a mix of abnormal techniques. As always I used just simple pens, highlighters and a white correction marker.

Thank you for posting @mariandavp.

Lovely.......experimenting is what keeps an artist's work lively.

Nicely done.

Cheers.

This is just awesome! You belong in a museum.

Aw wow, that is THE compliment! I don't really but many many thanks 😊😊😊😊

Interesting style.

I think so, but maybe it would be cooler if it was black and white... I like the early version better.

I think they are all good- but a monotone version also works well.

That is lovely - the colors pop off of the page.

Thank you! I am glad you think so!

nicely done, I like that technique!

Really nice to hear that, thank you!

you welcome.

Really cool technique I am impressed!

Thanks! It's only an experiment but I guess it has a strange effect that makes it interesting.
