Songs with a story, number one

There are songs that bring with them an image, a smell, sometimes even a touch. Call the feeling what you want, live with it as you wish. But acknowledge, within your own small sphere of life, that it has a meaning. Don't deny it, respect it. I'm listening to this Bon Iver song — and of course there is always a Bon Iver songs that tells you something — and I see a summer, a smell of warmth and water. A light in the sky. Things like that, random and complex. But real, in their own way. Life.
