Hello friends, after some time I decided to return to earrings, so I made this pair. I worked with shrinking foil and acrylic paint.

The process

First, I was searching for some nice butterfly. I really love swordtails and this spieces seemed to me like the perfect one so I could use green tassels. I drew the basic lines with pencil, then painted with acrylic. Shrinking foil turns itself about three times smaller after baking, so I painted in a bigger scale, with enough water in the paint, because after baking also the paint shrinks and it can create ugly mounds.

After burning I made small holes for silver components and pin down the tassels and the hooks.
