Fluid art is an fascinating way at creating beautiful & often quite mesmerising paintings. I’ve been self teaching myself different processes, pouring techniques, different things to add to the paint mix & even using a blow torch to get specific effects.
Sometimes it’s about pouring the colours you’re working with all together in one cup & creating layers.. other times it’s pouring individual colours on different parts of the canvas. I’ve started to enjoy using less of a medium & more inks with water to create a really soft palette & then creating layers as each section dries.
Each creation eventually takes on a life of its own. Sometimes i’ll paint with a theme in mind.. oceans, planets, other worlds.. other times the theme will just evolve & present itself in its own unique way.

That's something different! :-) Very nice way to show your creation process @marysemciver; I honestly didn't imagine the variety of techniques used in the creation of you beautiful paintings. I just realized today that it's been a while since I visited your Blog and this post is a good reminder and inspiration to come more often :-)
