hey, world.

I hope this post finds you well. life has not been easy, but I'm starting to realize that the adult life is this way (which really doesn't help making it better, but it does help to allow me to accept more easily and have patience).

it's been sometime since I last wrote here. in the ocasion, I had just lost a chuldhood friend, and it makes me proud that I had the strenght to write and register for eternity my love for him and the importance of crossing my path with his.

this past week marked one month since my grandfather's passing, and again I have been dealing with death in my day-to-day thoughts. I wish it was just his death, honestly; it really saddens me the amount of suffering and death that are so present in the lives of so many Brazilians, just like myself, and so many others that are also so much not like myself.

I wrote these past feel dsys about the complexity of faith, and how much I learned with my grandpa about cristianism and its beliefs, and I wanted to eternalize something here in English that I wrote in portuguese:

"Love thy neighbor as thyself."

but please, don't love everyone the same way; every being is unique. maybe one of the greatest challenges we face in our existence here in this planet is this: learning to love in so many different manners.

I hope you never give up Loving.

I will always love my grandpa, Luis Marcello 🖤
