One of my earlier A4 Ink drawings – Energetic Exploding Blossoms.

Every spring in Switzerland when you're talking a walk in the forest or through some fields you encounter the magic of the blossoming flowers. The variety of flowers, their individual simplicity and the beauty they lend to the whole scene must be captured with energy. The individual pin points of the piece come in where a new flower, bush or tree explodes out in all directions, parting with a trail of energy. A lonely flower, bush or tree can be beautiful, but to have more energy and momentum around it, it must intertwine with others and explode into an array of blossoms. The energetic exploding Blossoms are scattered randomly across the piece as they are with, in a forest or field. I believe they look to be exploding because of the outward expanding nature of the individual blossoms. This unanimous motion lends itself to the piece because of the flow and energy it expresses.
